Rigorous Testing for Enhanced Durability
Green Foam Insulation (GFI) is excited to announce that our PIR duct panel has successfully passed the SGS Bending Strength Test recently, confirming its exceptional resilience and durability. During the testing, two different surface finishes of our PIR duct board (80 micron aluminum foil and 200 micron pre-painted GI sheet) were evaluated for bending strength. This achievement highlights our company’s commitment to producing high-quality materials suitable for HVAC System applications that meet diverse environmental needs, providing our customers with long-lasting and reliable insulation solutions.
Impressive Bending Strength Results
The SGS test results showcased the robust bending strength of our PIR pre-insulated duct panels. The air duct panel with an aluminum foil surface achieved a bending strength of 1749 kPa, indicating a highly durable composition that maintains structural integrity under challenging HVAC conditions. Even more remarkable, the PIR air duct panel with 200 micron pre-painted GI sheet surface reached a bending strength of 2002 kPa. This outstanding result not only demonstrates the product's enhanced durability under pressure but also underscores its suitability for demanding industrial environments.
